Miami Dade Blue Plan Health Insurance Update
The residents of Miami just took a collective sigh of relief as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Miami Dade County finally agreed to venture out and join up to offer a new health insurance plan targeted at the uninsured in Miami-Dade County. This plan, called Miami Dade Blue is available for everyone regardless of income, should you qualify medically. And no, you don’t have to run laps or jump rope nor do you need to have a nurse go to your house, unless you are into that sort of thing.
At ECHealthInsurance.com we are marketing this plan as it is 1/3 the cost of the traditional health insurance plans in Miami with way more health coverage. Yes this is correct, way more health coverage. It sounds impossible you might say, but it is because Blue Cross and Miami set up a new network of doctors and providers to cater to this large segment of the population they were able to get amazing pricing and negotiated rates. This is not a guarantee that the rates will stay low but with the average premium for a 35 male being $100 per month there is a little more wiggle room then the average Florida Health insurance company which in Miami is closer to $200. Of course they including the normal vanilla Blue Cross of Miami will have a larger network, but even accounting for this difference the new Miami Dade Blue is an outstanding deal for those suffering through the recession, or even worse those in the age group right before medicare who usually have to pay close to $1000 per month for a decent health insurance plan in Miami.
Assuming you are healthy enough too make the switch to the new Miami Dade Blue, and that you are content to live with a few less providers, what is stopping you from calling ECHealthInsurance.com at 888.803.5917? We can also point you in the right direction if you are ineligible for Medicaid but can’t afford any other health coverage.
